Born in the vines, facing outward

It starts in 2006. A team of enthusiasts, inveterate wine seekers, founded VINO TINTO on one simple conviction: great wine is never a matter of luck. It comes from rigour, from passion, and from a deep respect for the environment.

At the heart of it is Domaine Allegria, our own wine estate. It is that same grower’s philosophy we apply when we select and represent the work of other exceptional artisan winemakers.

Today Vino Tinto is more than a name. It is an international logistics and commercial platform, the bridge between these honest terroirs and wine lovers all over the world.

Domaine Allegria

The vineyard sits in the commune of Caux, north of Pézenas, on the first hills of the Haut Languedoc. Twelve hectares in a single block, on the flank of the ancient Baumes volcano.

The soil is predominantly basalt. Nine Mediterranean grape varieties make up the mosaic of the estate, and the oldest parcel is past forty years old. Every vine has been certified organic since 2011.

The concrete tanks are sized to hold a single parcel and ferment it separately, so nothing loses its identity before the blend. No sulfites are added at any point during winemaking, only small protective doses at bottling.

La Belle Histoire 2020 was awarded three stars in the Guide Hachette. La Caldera 2020 scored 92 out of 100 from a best sommelier of the world.
